General Japanese courses are courses designed to make use of practical Japanese in daily life and working situations. From beginner to advanced level, the class is organized to fit your level. There is 4 hours of intensive Japanese study everyday. This course is for students who wish to study Japanese full-time on a student visa. Even if you don’t have a visa, you can apply for one.

• You can choose the length of study to fit your schedule and purpose for studying.
• There are students from over 10 countries, mostly throughout Asia, so it provides an international study environment.
• Students and teachers are very close which makes for a good study environment.
• There are various events and opportunities for exchanges with Japanese people.

Before classes begin, your Japanese level will be assessed in order to place you in a class that best matches your ability.  From beginner level to advanced level, the curriculum contents are carefully prepared so that your Japanese can be solidly mastered with each skill evenly balanced.

Upper-Intermediate	N2	・Be able to understand conversations in a wider range of daily life situations at close to native speakers speed. ・Be able to ask simple sentences to regular everyday Japanese people. ・Be able to grasp the meaning of short paragraphs.	・Be able to hold conversations in Japanese on various general topics for enjoyment. ・Be able to speak natural Japanese. ・Be able to explain past and present events.
Advanced	N1	・Be able to understand native Japanese in any situation.	・Be able to choose appropriate Japanese expressions that correspond to different situations and people. ・Be able to use natural Japanese. ・Be able to express your opinion and refute others opinions in a debate setting.

Upper-Intermediate	N2	・Be able to understand advertisements and easy sentences that you see daily. ・Be able to get the information that you want from newspapers, magazines, internet, etc.	・Be able to write logical sentences about your own experiences and familiar topics.
Advanced	N1	・Be able to understand the technical contents of a wide variety of newspapers, magazines, internet, etc. ・Be able to understand business documents at work.	・Be able to write logical sentences on technical topics. ・Be able to prepare sentences expressing your opinion using information that you gathered. ・Be able to write sentences on abstract concepts based on facts and experiences.
