Fukuoka YMCA Japanese Language School was founded in 1982 for the purpose of teaching Fukuoka foreign residents daily practical conversation, and promoting cross-cultural understanding. Then, in April, 1989, when it became possible to obtain college student visas, the full-time schooling system began. Asian students, as well as students gathered from all over the world are learning Japanese to live, and for work, so that each student can realize their own personal goals and play an active role in their home country or in Japan. YMCA is a place where people from many different countries can come together and learn Japanese language and Japanese culture and can learn to mutually understand each other in the hopes of realizing a peaceful society.
At Fukuoka YMCA Japanese Language School, we offer various courses to fit the student’s level and need.
