WELCOME TO FUKUOKA YMCA INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE, JAPANESE LANGUAGE DEPARTMENT

Fukuoka YMCA International College was established in 1986, and hotel/welfare professional education was provided. In October 2008, Japanese Language Department with the goal of advancing on to higher education at Japanese universities was established. Fukuoka YMCA International College is located 11 minutes away by subway from the center of Fukuoka in Tenjin, or a short 20 minutes by bus from the center of the city. Less than 2 kilometers away from Seinan University, Fukuoka University, and Nakamura Technical College, it provides students with a great learning environment in which to concentrate on their studies.

INTRODUCTION TO COURSE


College Preparatory 2 Years Course (Starts in April)

A 2 year course that prepares students for entering higher education. As well as Japanese language study, the course is also designed to help students pass the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) and The Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU). Students who complete the 2 year course are awarded a Culture and General Education Diploma.

College Preparatory 1.5 Years Course (Starts in October)

Suitable for those students who have studied Japanese in their home countries and suitable for those who are aiming to move on to higher education in a relatively short time. As well as Japanese language study, the course is also designed to help students pass the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) and The Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU)
